This policy describes what Kelly Enterprises LLC collects when you use kellyenterprises.xyz, why, and who else ends up seeing it. It is written to be read rather than to be defensible, and it describes the site as actually built.
The short version
This site has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels, and sets no cookies of its own. Nothing here is trying to build a profile of you. Most pages collect nothing at all: you can read every essay, project writeup, and reading note without giving up anything but the request itself.
Two things do collect information: the contact form, and checkout.
The contact form
If you send a message through the contact page, the form collects the name, email address, and message you type. Nothing else. An earlier version of this site also recorded your browser's user agent and referring page, and no longer does.
That submission is sent to a Google Apps Script endpoint, which appends it to a private Google Sheet and emails it to me. It is used to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. It is not added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
Buying something
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, on Stripe's own pages. Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout, never on this site, and I never see or store them.
To fulfil an order, Stripe passes me what you entered there: your name, email address, shipping address, what you bought, and anything you typed into the comments field. Stripe's own handling of your data is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
What the server sees
This site is hosted on Microsoft Azure Static Web Apps. Like any web host, it records ordinary request logs: IP address, the page requested, timestamp, and user agent. I don't use these logs for analytics and don't combine them with anything else.
Fonts are served from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads in order to serve the font files. No cookie is set by that request.
The reading timeline pulls its rows from a Google Sheet I publish read-only. Your browser fetches that sheet directly, so Google sees that request as well. It contains no information about you beyond the request itself.
What reaches other companies
Only these, and only for the purpose named:
- Stripe: payment processing and order fulfilment.
- Google (Apps Script, Sheets, Fonts): contact form delivery and storage, reading timeline, web fonts.
- Microsoft Azure: hosting and request logs.
Nothing is sold. Nothing is shared for advertising. There is no data broker in this picture.
How long things are kept
Contact form submissions and order records are kept while they are useful for the conversation or the order, and for as long as tax and business records need to exist. If you want yours removed sooner, ask.
Your choices
Email sean@kellyenterprises.xyzand ask what I hold about you, ask for a copy, or ask me to delete it. I'll do it. Depending on where you live you may have these rights by statute; you have them here regardless.
Children
This site isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes to what is collected will be described rather than quietly edited in.
